Family Pictures 2010

Here are some candid pictures of Nathan which I really liked. Thank you to my friend Amie for her amazing talent and patience. It was a long day and between her two year old and mine it was hard to get them to want to sit still long enough to take a photo. :)

The family ones turned out good too. We were happy to have Nathan smiling on the bench, it makes it more fun, when your having a good time. Amie said the field was taken down the next week, it was good timing!

Re-Cap

Well.....Needless to say it has been a busy year and I have not made this blog a priority. Richie has been hit and miss with work although things seem to be looking up which is GREAT, and I have been working full time with the same company and trying to soak in as much time with Nathan when I get off. He has been potty training off and on and has been doing really well, I just wish he would PERMANENTLY Stick with it. At this point I will take what I can get, it's progress. It has been a fun summer seeing family from California and going camping with Richie's family. I'm glad that the days are getting a little cooler it was almost too hot to go to the park and try to play. Nathan has become quite the little helper at home and always helps cook dinner and clean up. He loves to "HOP" everywhere right now and I can't wait to get him back in his tumbling class hopefully in the next month or so. Here are some more recent pictures of Nathan giving the dinosaur he got for his 2nd birthday kisses (FEB), Him looking at the Stingrays at the Shark Reef in Las Vegas (MARCH) and Daddy holding him proudly when we went camping (JULY).

HALLOWEEN

For some reason this didn't save the first time so I have to do it twice. I'm only a month late, that is not too bad. Nathan was a construction worker for Halloweed, we couldn't get him to keep the hat on and it was a little big so we ended up turning it upside down and using it as his candy basket. He liked knocking on peoples doors, but couldn't quite say trick-or-treat. He walked into one house and gave a lady a hug, he LOVED the Twix, he even recognizes the wrapper.

Baby Powder

Nathan got into the basement closet and poured baby powder on the shelf and started playing with it. We went ahead and let him continue for a little while since he was already a mess. He got his toy ATV's and was driving them through the power and then he took the toy to the couch and left track marks. That was when we started cleaning up. He had a blast.

Silly Baby

The top 2 photos are of Nathan helping Mommy make homemade pie crust. He figured out how to use the mixer so I had to keep unplugging it everytime I added a new ingredient because he kept turning it on. He is such a big helper. The bottom photo is at the pool, YEAH for summer he looks so dang cut and he kept playing with his hat. I got him to turn and smile just long enough to take this picture. He is getting so big I can't believe it. He has cut 1 of his 4 molars, and the other 3 are coming in.

Play Time !

These were taken just before Nathan's birthday (February). We bought him a "big boy" car seat and the box was so big he just kept playing in it. He was making us laugh. He is so wonderful :)

Turning 1 !

It's hard to believe that a full year has gone by already. Nathan is getting so big running around all over the place. Every now and again he even likes to walk backwards. When he got his birthday cake he decided the frosting was paint, and "painted" all over the countertop. We had so much fun with everyone who came over for his birthday, thank you all for coming and for his wonderful gifts. He is definately enjoying a little dragon that Damon gave him, he growls when you press a button. (ROAR!)

Things have been a little crazy for us. I'm still trying to finish school as soon as possible and Richie has been looking for a second job to help play catch-up from the first couple months this year. We are looking forward to warmer months and not beeing in the house so much. It will be nice to have the yard for Nathan to play and the park nearby for walks.
